| Jack Hines was born in the
Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Menominee. He's a graduate of
Michigan State University with a B.A. in Journalism. Radio's trails took him to legendary stations like WXYZ in Detroit and San Francisco's KGO and KFRC. He arrived in Dallas to work as news director at KNUS-FM in the latter half of the 70's. More recently, he has worked as morning anchor and news person at KRLD 1080, WBAP 820. He currently is on the morning show at KRNB 105.7. Jack's worked in marketing at a North Texas computer company. His resume includes the role of an impresario at Schooners blues bar in Dallas. Jack's into the theater and is a performing arts enthusiast. He's acted at the Pegasus Theater in Dallas in addition to community theater. Jack enjoys scuba diving and he can probably answer any questions you have about the Civil War He makes it a point to attend the annual Chicago Blues Festival. |
